Approach
Jamal’s approach to lessons is in the STUDENT. The focus is FUN, LEARNING and… YOU.
I follow a self-developed curriculum from 15+ years of teaching, academic study, performance experience and conversations with experts. The curriculum itself is in constant continuous refinement and is adaptable to your individual needs. I assess your ability and offer exercises, materials and a framework that will assist in your reaching that next stage of understanding and application.
If you simply want to learn yet are easy-going regarding your study, I can guide you through a personalised curriculum and ensure that you will gradually develop a solid framework for your understanding of rhythm and it’s myriad applications to the drum set.
