Stan Bicknell – Drum Solo [Phrase Transcription]

My friend asked me to help decode this segment from Stan Bicknell’s drum solo on Drumeo.

The pattern appears @ 1:23 into the video [click here for link].

I broke it up this way visually because I felt it showed how the pattern is built of paradiddles with kick drum inserts (and a big, accented backbeat on the snare drum).

– He fudges through the last three 16th notes (Understandably. It seems like he’s freestyling). I’ve written them out in full for sake of paradiddle clarity.
